The Cardinals have placed rookie QB Max Hall on injured reserve and signed QB Richard Bartel.
Bartel, who is expected to be the team's third-string QB behind Derek Anderson and John Skelton, was on the Redskins' roster in 2008 and '09 but never threw a pass. The 27 year-old QB played his college ball at Tarleton State.
Hall suffered an injury to his left shoulder in the team's Week 12 game vs. the Rams. He played in six games this year, throwing one touchdown and six interceptions.
The way we see it
Arizona's QB situation is one of the worst in the league and is definitely a position they'll address in the offseason. Hall and Skelton are both rookies, but it is unknown if the team sees them as long-term players.
