Sunday night's Steelers-Ravens game came right down to the end, which was good news for NBC.
The network drew a 14.6 rating for the physical AFC North clash, won by the Steelers 13-10. That was a seven percent increase from the Week 13 game a year ago, Vikings at Cardinals, which was won by Arizona. It was the highest-rated Week 13 game NBC has shown since it began airing Sunday-night games in 2006.
The win also preserved NBC's streak of winning the ratings battle over other networks on Sunday night; "SNF" has been the No. 1 show during the time slot all 13 weeks of the season.
The way we see it
Pittsburgh and Baltimore always play entertaining and hard-fought games, and Sunday night's contest was no exception. Don't be surprised if this rivalry is a prime-time game for many years to come.
