Colts CB Jerraud Powers will miss some time with a broken arm, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Powers broke a bone in his right forearm during the team's Week 13 loss to the Cowboys and it is unknown if the injury will force the team to place the second-year corner on injured reserve. Indianapolis is already beat up in the secondary and cannot afford to lose another quality player.
Powers has started all 10 games in which he has played this season, recording 53 tackles and two interceptions.
The way we see it
With CB Kelvin Hayden (neck) and SS Bob Sanders (biceps) already out of the Colts' secondary, the team doesn't have much depth. Losing Powers for an extended period would add to the problem, as he has been one of Indy's most consistent defensive players this season.
