Let's take a look at the Vikings' fantasy prospects as they prepare to face the Bills in Week 13:

RB Adrian Peterson is a go. His ankle likely will limit him, and Toby Gerhart showed last week he can handle an extended load. So you have to expect that Peterson, even against the Bills, might not put up a huge fantasy performance.

QB Brett Favre at this point is a second-tier fantasy performer, and don't assume playing the Bills will equate to huge numbers. Since Brad Childress was fired, the emphasis offensively was to pare things down in the passing game. That could lead to fewer passes, although it also could mean fewer turnovers, as last week showed.

WR Sidney Rice might finally get a chance to break out this week. Expect a big reception or two.

WR Percy Harvin is inactive after a week of migraines, so Bernard Berrian will get the start in his place. Berrian isn't much of a fantasy option, however.

TE Visanthe Shiancoe has been too inconsistent as a fantasy producer this season, but he might be primed for an OK afternoon against a defensive unit that has been terrible at stopping tight ends.
