The Vikings have to know based on the tape they have watched all week that this is among the tougher two-win teams they'll see this late in the season. The Bills are competitive and fearless, if not lacking in talent and depth. And coming off a win last week in interim head coach Leslie Frazier's debut, the position for a letdown is there.

But the Vikings will win, and Adrian Peterson (ankle sprain) gamely will go — and gash the Bills' defense, which can't stop even mediocre run games. Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick can make some plays throwing away from CB Antoine Winfield, but it won't be enough.

Prediction: Vikings 27, Bills 24
