The Cardinals' quarterback shuffle continued in Sunday's loss to the Rams when emergency third-QB John Skelton had to play.

Starting QB Derek Anderson, who completed just seven of 20 passes, will be checked for a concussion this week, according to head coach Ken Whisenhunt.

His replacement, rookie Max Hall, completed just one pass for 10 yards and threw a pick before leaving with a shoulder injury. He said he dislocated his left shoulder and will be out for a few weeks.

Skelton went 3-of-6 for 45 yards. Whisenhunt said he did not know who will start at quarterback next week when Arizona hosts the Broncos.

The way we see it

It hasn't really mattered who has played quarterback for the Cardinals this year as they have one of the league's worst passing offenses. At this point in the season, they could give Skelton a shot, although if Anderson is healthy he will likely start.
