The Browns' chances of winning were enhanced with the news that WR Brandon Marshall will be inactive for a second consecutive week with a hamstring injury. That said, the Dolphins adjusted well with Marshall out last week at Oakland, with QB Chad Henne throwing for 307 yards and WR Davone Bess catching 6-111-0. Overall, the Dolphins gained 471 yards vs. the Raiders.

Miami's offense presents a challenging matchup for Cleveland's defense. The Dolphins will pound away with the running game, and the Browns must be more stout and sound vs. the run after surrendering a couple of big plays on the ground last week vs. Carolina.

To score the victory, the Browns must establish the run — not easy vs. Miami — and QB Jake Delhomme must take care of the ball. He has thrown six interceptions in 2½ games. The Browns simply can't give away points or field position and not pay the price.

I look for the Dolphins to grind to a win. The Browns will be competitive, and a less-than-sharp performance will leave Miami vulnerable, but the Dolphins played very well a week ago and look capable of playing well down the stretch.

Prediction: Dolphins 20, Browns 13
