Eagles QB Michael Vick has taken a few questionable hits this season, and the Eagles are not happy about it.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that the NFL is aware of the Eagles' concerns involving Vick.

"It bothers me, to be honest with you," Eagles head coach Andy Reid said Friday. "He does run, but he's still the quarterback and you can't treat him like he's a running back there. That's not what the rules state."

Reid added that he will "deal with the people I need to on that."

The way we see it

Vick is having an MVP-type season and is a favorite for Comeback Player of the Year, but the way he is getting hit, his big stats could take a hit of their own. Vick is second in the league with a 105.7 QB rating but has been sacked 23 times. Since he is a running threat on every play, there is an argument that he is putting himself in a position to get hit harder. Considering the NFL's crackdown on hits this season and the fact that Vick has been one of the league's bigger stories, expect the NFL to watch closely how he is treated in his next game.
