OT Collins among Bengals reserves who could get longer look

Some of the intrigue surrounding the Bengals in the final weeks concerns backups who could get a longer look as the season winds to a close. For instance, third-year pro Anthony Collins rotated at right tackle with Dennis Roland in Week 12. Collins showed promise as a rookie but has not built on it, and how he finishes the season bears watching. At wide receiver, it remains to be seen if Andre Caldwell and Jerome Simpson, like Collins in their third NFL seasons, will get more work in the final weeks. Simpson, a former second-round pick, has not developed as hoped, and Caldwell's playing time has decreased since the arrival of Jordan Shipley. One backup who has made the most of his playing time has been rookie DE Carlos Dunlap, who had two sacks vs. the Jets and was one of the few silver linings in a 26-10 defeat.
