The Jaguars stunned the Giants with a 207-yard rushing attack in Week 12, but the good news was that the Giants made adjustments at halftime, improved significantly and should be in good shape to maintain their performance down the stretch. The Jags hit the Giants with some misdirection runs and seemed to get them out of their gaps, as Maurice Jones-Drew did most of the damage after one cut and going. There was concern once the team went back and looked at the tape and saw how they were blown off the ball through much of the first three quarters, but the Giants responded late and believe they have solved their problems up front. One was getting off the snap slowly, and another was adjusting to the backside blocks and gaining better leverage. For a unit purported to be as deep and talented as the Giants', it was a disconcerting sight, seeing it struggle. But the staff thinks it made the proper adjustments and should be fine down the stretch.
