Considering that the Chiefs only expect QB Matt Cassel to be a game manager, they are more than happy with his play throughout the 2010 season. Thanks to an unbelievable stretch that has seen him throw 18 touchdown passes compared to one interception in his last seven games, the 28-year-old now ranks among the league's most efficient signalcallers. While the sensational play of WR Dwayne Bowe has had a lot to do with Cassel's incredible production, the quarterback's recent performance becomes even more impressive when taking into account that he has only one dependable wideout at his disposal. From what we hear, Cassel isn't making the same mistakes as last season, when he had as many picks as TDs, and is playing much smarter football. That is exactly what the Chiefs have asked of him, as they want to be a team that uses its running game and defense to win. Thus far, Cassel has exceeded expectations.
