The Redskins waived veteran WR Joey Galloway on Saturday and signed WR Terrence Austin from their practice squad.

Galloway had 12 catches for 173 yards in 10 games in this, his 17th NFL season.

Austin, a rookie out of UCLA, has not played in an NFL game.

The way we see it

This could be the end of Galloway's long NFL career. He has 77 career receiving touchdowns playing for five different teams. He was never able to make an impact on the Redskins' offense this season.
