Former Broncos LB Jarvis Moss has signed with the Raiders, according to multiple media outlets.
The 2007 first-rounder was a non-factor in Denver and was finally released last week. The University of Florida standout was drafted as a defensive end, where Oakland will likely use him, and didn't fit in the Broncos' 3-4 defensive scheme.
Raiders DE Trevor Scott recently suffered an ACL tear, forcing Oakland to add depth on the defensive line.
The way we see it
Moss becomes the latest of first-round busts to end up in Oakland. The 26-year-old has just 29 tackles and one start since coming into the league, and hasn't recorded a sack in the past two seasons.
He will likely back up DE Matt Shaughnessy, who should start in place of Scott.
