The Bengals will make a game-time decision on QB Carson Palmer's availability for their Thursday night game against the Jets.

Palmer practiced Wednesday but is nursing an injured foot. A source told NFL Network's Michael Lombardi that the foot still hasn't healed and Palmer will be a game-time decision.

Palmer is listed as probable on the team's injury report and wore a protective boot on Monday and Tuesday. He has made 26 consecutive starts. His backup is his brother, Jordan Palmer.

The way we see it

Palmer will likely play, but his injured foot is worth keeping an eye on during the game. Against an attacking Jets defense, Palmer might not have crisp footwork in the pocket and could do more damage. The Bengals are reeling after seven consecutive losses have dropped their record to 2-8. This Thanksgiving night game has lost its luster and the Bengals will be at a severe disadvantage if Palmer cannot go.

Fantasy Spin

Palmer's owners, keep an eye on his status leading up to game time. If he cannot go, his receivers' values also go down. Palmer still isn't a great start against the Jets' defense, even when healthy.
