Nobody is confusing him with Marv Levy quite yet, but head coach Chan Gailey is gaining the respect of Buffalo players and fans quickly with the way he has the team playing on a weekly basis. Saddled with one of the least-talented rosters in the entire league, Gailey has the Bills playing hard every game, something which cannot be said for some other teams with poor records in the NFL. Gailey demands accountability and maximum effort from all of his players, no matter if they are longtime starters or fill-in backups. That approach has led to improved results as the season has progressed, shown in a two-game winning streak in Weeks 10 and 11 and a point differential of plus-one since Week Four. The insertion of Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback and the emergence of WR Stevie Johnson as a go-to player have really helped, but the team could have given up after a slow start, something Gailey didn't allow to happen.
