The Bengals announced Wednesday that they have promoted S Jeromy Miles from their practice squad and waived DE Victor Adeyanju.
Miles signed with Cincinnati following the 2010 draft and recorded six tackles in five preseason games. He was released on Sept. 4 before signing with the team's practice squad the following day.
Adeyanju's tenure with the Bengals was short. He signed with Cincinnati on Thursday, and was inactive in the Bengals' 49-31 loss to the Bills before his release.
The way we see it
The Bengals' secondary has been hit hard by injuries, and with safeties Roy Williams and Chris Crocker out, Miles will help provide depth.
