The Redskins signed S Macho Harris on Tuesday to add some depth to their secondary.
Harris, a fifth-round pick by the Eagles in 2009, played in 15 games with eight starts during his rookie season and was released in September.
The Redskins are missing star S LaRon Landry, who missed last Sunday's game with an injury to his left Achilles' tendon. Backup S Anderson Russell has been placed on injured reserve after tearing the ACL in his right knee in last Sunday's win.
