Raiders DT Richard Seymour has been fined $25,000 for punching Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger during their Week 11 matchup, according to reporter Jason La Canfora.

Roethlisberger said something to Seymour following a Pittsburgh touchdown and the lineman responded with an open-handed swing to the quarterback's facemask, knocking Roethlisberger to the ground. Seymour was ejected following the incident.

The way we see it

Seymour is fortunate he wasn't suspended for this swing at Big Ben's head. While the fine is severe, actions like this cannot be tolerated in the sport.
