The Cardinals will be without OLB Will Davis for the rest of the season after he broke his left leg against the Chiefs on Sunday.
Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday that Davis had a fractured fibula. Davis started in place of Clark Haggans, who has missed three of the past four games with a groin injury and is not expected back this week. Davis started three games in Haggans' absence. He has recorded 14 tackles, including one sack, this season.
Rookie LB O'Brien Schofield was Davis' backup.
The way we see it
Davis is a promising talent who has been bitten by the injury bug. Schofield is intriguing. The Cardinals, who are thin at the linebacker position, like what they see out of the prospect but he missed a lot of time following an injury in the Senior Bowl.
