A day after a tough loss to the Bills, the Bengals announced a series of roster moves.
DE Antwan Odom was added to the roster from the exempt list upon the completion of his four-week suspension for violating the league's performance enhancement drug policy. Odom has played in four games in 2010, recording eight tackles.
He takes the roster spot of DE Frostee Rucker, who was placed on I.R. Rucker played in nine games this season but suffered a knee injury in the Week 10 loss to the Colts.
Cincinnati also made moves in their secondary. Starting FS Chris Crocker was placed on injured reserve after tearing the MCL in his knee in the loss to Buffalo. To fill his place, the team signed CB Jonathan Wade, a fourth-year pro. Wade was on the Lions for eight games this season before being cut by Detroit on Nov. 10
The way we see it
The Bengals have lost seven games in a row and now have lost a key member of their secondary, which was expected to be the strongest unit on the team. Facing a short week with a Thanksgiving-night game vs. the Jets, the team hopes Odom and Wade can step in quickly and make impressive contributions.
