The move from Pittsburgh to New York was supposed to stunt the fantasy growth of Santonio Holmes, but that hasn't been the case.

After sitting out four games due to suspension and then taking some time to develop a rapport with QB Mark Sanchez upon his return, Holmes has been as good as ever for his fantasy owners. Holmes' explosion came Sunday against the Texans, when the wideout caught seven passes for 126 yards and two TDs in a come-from-behind victory.

Over the past few weeks, Holmes has clearly emerged as Sanchez's preferred target. He has 17 receptions for 316 yards and three scores in his last three outings, bringing back memories from his days as a Steeler. Owners who were patient with him should continue to get rewarded handsomely down the stretch.

Thanks in part to the solid play of guys like Holmes and Braylon Edwards, Sanchez himself has become a dependable fantasy weapon. With a monster 315-yard, three-TD effort Sunday, he is now averaging 317 yards and two passing TDs over his last three contests. Formerly a game manager, he has improved enough that he is a guy owners will want to start in the right matchup. Considering he has the Bengals and Patriots the next two games, Sanchez should have opportunities to shine.
