Eagles CB Ellis Hobbs suffered a neck injury on the second half kickoff after a violent collision with Giants DE Dave Tollefson. Hobbs was on the field for nearly 10 minutes before being taken off on a stretcher.
NBC reporter Andrea Kremer reported that Hobbs had full use of his extremities in the Philadelphia locker room.
A further report stated that Hobbs was able to walk out of the x-ray room wearing a neck brace. The x-rays were negative.
