The Bills promoted RB Jehuu Caulcrick from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Friday.
Caulcrick spent 2008 and part of 2009 on the Jets' practice squad before being released and signed to the Bucs' practice squad. A Buffalo native, Caulcrick has not played in an NFL game.
The Bills released WR Paul Hubbard to make room for Caulcrick.
The way we see it
Rookie RB C.J. Spiller (hamstring) will miss Sunday's game against the Bengals, so Caulcrick will add some depth to the position. At 260 pounds, Caulcrick was the Spartans' main goal-line back in college.
