The Bears' offensive, defensive and special-teams players of the week in their 16-0 win over the Dolphins in Week 11:
Offense: RB Matt Forté
Forté scored a touchdown for the first time since Week Six when he ran two yards into the endzone late in the third quarter. It was the last time the Bears would score and the only TD of the game. Forté gained 97 yards on a season-high 25 carries and also had two catches for seven yards.
Defense: DE Julius Peppers
Bears fans had been waiting for a game like this from Peppers. He entered the game with only two sacks on the season, but left Miami with a total of five. His three sacks of Dolphins QB Tyler Thigpen resulted in a loss of 14 yards, and Peppers also made three other tackles in the game. He leaped to deflect a Thigpen pass in the first quarter, knocking it off course and into the hands of CB Charles Tillman for a pick.
Special teams: PK Robbie Gould
Gould had missed two of his last four field-goal attempts heading into Week 11, but he connected on all three of his tries Thursday night. Gould made field goals of 46, 24 and 50 yards, helping the Bears gain a 9-0 advantage. He averaged 71.6 yards on his five kickoffs and two of them resulted in touchbacks.
