Redskins CB Carlos Rogers might miss Sunday's game against the Titans, and an assignment to cover WR Randy Moss.
Rogers, the Redskins' top cover corner, injured his right hamstring in Monday night's loss to the Eagles. He said Thursday that it is still sore and he doesn't want to put himself at risk of reinjuring it.
The Redskins have the league's worst defense, allowing 415.3 yards per game. Veteran CB Philip Buchanon will likely start in Rogers' place.
The way we see it
Buchanon has been the nickel guy for the 'Skins and has played more and more snaps as the season has gone on, but Rogers is the best cover guy the Redskins have. DeAngelo Hall is more of a gambler, but Hall could now get the task of covering Moss, who had only one catch in his Titans debut.
