The Bears will be without starting SLB Pisa Tinoisamoa when they play the Dolphins Thursday night.
Tinoisamoa is dealing with a knee injury and it's been decided that he will not play against Miami. The eighth-year veteran missed 14 games last season because of a knee injury, but he had been healthy throughout this season, making 34 tackles in nine starts.
Nick Roach could start in Tinoisamoa's place.
The way we see it
It's not known if the knee injury could affect Tinoisamoa's availability beyond Week 11, but he's played well and would be missed. Fortunately for the Bears, Roach has starting experience and he should be able to do a serviceable job for as long as he's needed on the first-string "D."
