The Giants re-signed WR Derek Hagan on Tuesday, replacing the injured Ramses Barden.
Barden landed on injured reserve after fracturing his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys. The Giants used his roster spot to bring back Hagan, who was with the team all of 2009 and in training camp this summer.
Hagan caught eight passes for 101 yards and a TD last season. He was a special-teams contributor, recording 11 special-teams tackles.
The way we see it
Hagan joins WRs Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham and Duke Calhoun as the Giants' healthy receivers. Steve Smith is nursing a partially torn pectoral muscle. Hagan is a veteran who is familiar with the Giants' offense.
