The Lions confirmed Monday night that QB Matthew Stafford met with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., to examine his injured right shoulder.

Stafford injured the shoulder on Nov. 7 against the Jets. In the statement, the Lions said that Andrews' findings were "consistent with the evaluation and diagnosis of the Lions' medical staff."

Stafford will continue his rehabilitation, which he started last week, and will be re-evaluated as the process goes on. The Lions are expected to play backup QB Shaun Hill again this week when they face the Cowboys.
