Giants reserve WR Ramses Barden broke his left ankle and tore a ligament in the ankle in the team's 33-20 loss to Dallas on Sunday, likely ending the season of the second-year receiver.
Barden's injury comes on the heels of news of the partial tear of a pectoral muscle suffered by WR Steve Smith, which has sidelined him indefinitely.
The injuries leave the Giants with only three healthy receivers — Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham and rookie Duke Calhoun. WR Darius Reynaud, who's primarily a return specialist, is battling a hamstring injury.
Other Giants injuries suffered in Sunday's game include OL Kevin Boothe's patellar tendinitis, TE Kevin Boss' lower back sprain, MLB Jonathan Goff's hyperextended elbow and DE Dave Tollefson's ankle.
