The Vikings have only won once in Chicago since Brad Childress took over, and today will not be an easy chore. Although the Bears are not playing like your typical 5-3 team, the Vikings needed a furious comeback last week to beat the sub-.500 Cardinals in overtime. The Bears can't run the football or protect QB Jay Cutler, so Minnesota will have a chance. But defensively, expect Chicago to focus on stopping on RB Adrian Peterson and have some measure of success. That means it likely will be a close game. If the Vikings have to throw 40-plus times, it could be a tough afternoon. It says here the Bears will eek out a close win.

Prediction: Bears 24, Vikings 21
