Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco's frustration with a lack of opportunities in the passing game led to head coach Marvin Lewis benching him briefly in the Week Nine loss to Pittsburgh. "When you're playing that position, you can't dictate when the ball comes to you," Lewis said of Ochocinco, who caught just one pass and drew double coverage from Pittsburgh. "The coverage is going to dictate it, and the quarterback isn't going to throw the ball in the coverage, and sometimes it's frustrating." Even with Ochocinco sometimes drawing extra attention from opponents, he is not lacking for chances in the passing game. Through eight games, he had been targeted 76 times. However, teammate Terrell Owens had been targeted 99 times. QB Carson Palmer has not hesitated to look for Owens, who's running good routes, we're told, and he's consistently working open. Note that Ochocinco is on pace to be targeted about 152 times this season after having 128 passes thrown his way last season.
