Eagles FS Nate Allen and CB Ellis Hobbs have been ruled out for the team's Week 10 game vs. the Redskins.
Allen, a rookie who has started all eight games for Philadelphia this season, hurt his neck in the team's Week Nine game vs. the Colts. Hobbs has a hip injury that has limited his availability in practice this week. Rookie Kurt Coleman and six-year pro Dimitri Patterson will replace Allen and Hobbs, respectively, in the lineup.
The way we see it
Allen and Hobbs have been key members of a secondary that ranks sixth in opponents' yards per pass play. Facing former Eagles QB Donovan McNabb, the new starters will be tested by a Washington offense that has struggled in recent games.
