Here's a look at a key matchup heading into Sunday's Week 10 battle between the Vikings and Bears.

Vikings QB Brett Favre vs. Bears' secondary

Even though Favre doesn't have Randy Moss around anymore, Chicago is going to need its secondary to be at full strength against the Vikings, who will still field the dangerous Percy Harvin if he can recover from the migraine that has kept him from practicing this week.

Key Bears contributors — starting CB Tim Jennings (knee) and nickel back D.J. Moore (head) — are dealing with injuries this week, but they will probably play, and backup CB Zack Bowman said he plans to return after missing the last two games with a foot injury.

It's not yet known whether one of Favre's favorite targets, WR Sidney Rice (hip), will return, but the Bears have had to prepare for him just in case he suits up for the first time this season.

Favre sliced up Chicago's defense last season, and, with quick playmakers at his disposal, the Bears' secondary is going to need help from the pass rush to force Favre to make quick decisions and settle for throwing short. Minnesota has speed in its receiving corps to expose the secondary if Favre has time to throw.

The veteran gunslinger has thrown at least one interception in all but one game this season, and the Bears have to be looking to jump routes and capitalize when Favre tries to force a pass into a tight window.
