Lions ORG Stephen Peterman and LB Julian Peterson have been fined by the NFL for hits in the Week Nine loss to the Jets.
Peterman was fined $10,000 for two chop-block penalties. Peterman will appeal the fine.
Peterson was fined $7,500 for a late hit on Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson and will not appeal.
"It's bad enough to get the penalty and everybody thinks I lost the game for us, but now I get fined on top of it," Peterson told MLive.com
The way we see it
Peterson's hit came on the Jets' final drive of regulation that led to a game-tying field goal. Peterman claims the Jets' defenders he blocked were not engaged with another blocker, which is why is is appealing.
