A pair of Week 10 matchups will be subject to blackout and won't be shown on local TV.

The Bills and Lions game has been blacked out in Buffalo, as the home team was unable to sell out Ralph Wilson Stadium 72 hours before kickoff. It is the Bills' second consecutive game in Buffalo that has been blacked out after the team's Week Five matchup with the Jaguars was also not shown on local TV. That ended a streak of 27 consecutive sellouts for the franchise.

Tampa Bay has not had a game shown on area television yet this season, despite an impressive 5-3 record. The Buccaneers game vs. the Panthers is not close to a sellout, and the team projects that all eight home games this season will be blacked out.

According to NFL rules, a team must sell all of its tickets three days before the game. Teams are allowed to buy their own tickets for one-third of face value to avoid being taken off the air. If a game is blacked out, it is not shown on TV within 75 miles of the stadium.
