Browns QB Jake Delhomme was to to practice on a limited basis Thursday, head coach Eric Mangini said, with rookie Colt McCoy, who got the majority of the work with the first-team offense on Wednesday, continuing to get most of the snaps with the starters and Seneca Wallace, who returned to practice Wednesday, primarily working with the "show team," or backups, Mangini said.

Mangini wouldn't name a starter for Sunday's game vs. New England just yet, but it appears McCoy is in line for his third consecutive start.

"I think we are like every other week, we are heading in one direction," Mangini said of the starting QB decision for Week 10. "We are heading there."

Asked if the team had discussed whom would be the starter going forward, Mangini said: "Everybody is not healthy, that's the component."

Delhomme and Wallace have been out of action for the past three games.

Delhomme's return to practice means the Browns' decision at quarterback could be coming soon. He started the opener, but has played only one game since. Wallace has made four starts, with McCoy starting the last three games.
