The Titans signed veteran DT Marques Douglas and waived DT Amon Gordon on Tuesday.

Douglas, an 11-year veteran, was released by the Dolphins after signing a two-year, $2.5 million contract. He recorded 64 tackles and 1½ sacks with the Jets last season. He has 20½ career sacks.

Gordon played in three games this season recording two tackles. He was added after rookie DE Derrick Morgan landed on injured reserve.

The way we see it

Douglas provides some experience and tenacity to a unit that has been very good this season. The Titans have forced six fumbles and recorded 26 sacks this season.
