Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and director of player personnel Nick Caserio discussed Sunday night's upcoming game against the Steelers in Tuesday's conference call. All quotes are taken from transcripts provided by the Patriots.

Belichick on if Roethlisberger looks any different after missing the first four games of the season: "He looks like he looked. I think if you don't know the dates of the games and you just watched this year and watched games last year or the year before, you'd have a hard time saying, 'Oh, this is '08; this is '09 ... ' Ben looks like Ben. He has a great style of play. He's a very physical guy: hard to tackle, hard to get down, makes a lot of big plays down the field (and) uses all his receivers."

Belichick on the Steelers' linebackers: "I think you see a lot of speed and athleticism inside with Farrior and Timmons; both of those guys can run. They are very athletic; they can cover a lot of ground. Harrison and Woodley are physical. They're real good pass rushers — that's their strength."

Caserio on how the young Patriots will respond to the Steelers' aggressive defense: "It's going to be a competitive game, no question about it. Pittsburgh historically, they've been a tough, physical team and that's their history. That goes back to the '70s and '80s. The Pittsburgh Steelers are who they are. They've been a successful team, they've had a successful program, they're good on offense, and they're good on defense."

Caserio on Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey: "He was a good player coming out of Florida. He's tough. He's physical. He's started since he showed up in Pittsburgh. He's played well. Obviously as a rookie he's playing a hard position, there are a lot of moving parts. ... He's played well for them to this point. ... We'll certainly have our hands full with him on the inside whoever is across from him."
