The Giants re-signed LS Zak DeOssie and OL Adam Koets to two-year contract extensions over the weekend, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.
Koets tore the ACL in his knee on Sunday and was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday. He had been filling in at center for the injured Shaun O'Hara.
The Giants activated OL Kevin Boothe off the physically-unable-to-perform list. Boothe will add depth to an O-line that is hurting with Koets out and David Diehl nursing an injured hip.
The Giants also waived WR Sinorice Moss off injured reserve. A second-round draft pick in 2006, Moss had sports hernia surgery, but was healthy enough to pass a physical, which is why he was waived.
The way we see it
Koets proved his worth to the team this season while filling in for O'Hara. Boothe could see some playing time this weekend and has practiced the past two weeks. Moss had been a disappointment in his time with the Giants, but a team in need of a wideout could claim him.
