Falcons WR Roddy White is expected to play in the team's Week 10 game vs. the Ravens on Thursday, according to head coach Mike Smith.
Speaking with reporters on Tuesday, Smith said he expects White to suit up despite missing practice on Monday. The receiver, who is among the league leaders in receptions and yards, suffered a knee injury in first quarter of the team's Week Nine win over the Buccaneers.
The way we see it
Facing a tough Ravens defense on a short week, the Falcons could use all their top offensive weapons. If White is able to play, it should help out RB Michael Turner, who had 107 yards and two TDs on Sunday. If not, fellow WRs Michael Jenkins and Brian Finneran will have to pick up the slack.
If White is in the Atlanta lineup, he should be in your fantasy lineup. Even with the injury and tough opponent, the receiver has been too good in 2010 to put on the bench.
