Another day, another Vikings controversy.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported that head coach Brad Childress and WR Percy Harvin were in a "heated argument" following practice on Friday after Childress questioned the receiver's effort. Harvin hurt his ankle in the team's Week Eight loss to the Patriots and was limited in practice all week. He's listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
ESPN's Ed Werder added that Harvin took exception to his coach's criticism, and their dispute nearly escalated to a physical confrontation.
The way we see it
At 2-5, Childress and the Vikings are in must-win mode, starting Sunday vs. the Cardinals. Another loss and the head coach may be out of a job.
