Patriots PK Stephen Gostkowski left Sunday's game vs. the Browns with a thigh injury. His return is questionable.

Gostkowski left the game after kicking off following an Aaron Hernandez touchdown.

P Zoltan Mesko and WR Wes Welker have been practicing kickoffs and field goals on the sideline. Welker kicked an extra point and a field goal in 2004 with the Dolphins.

The way we see it

Gostkowski has been automatic since having some accuracy issues the first few games. Welker is the emergency kicker and expect the Pats to go for it on fourth downs in field goal territory until Gostkowski can return.
