After watching almost every snap of every game the Packers have played so far this season, it has become clear that nothing is going to come easy for them this season, and that includes a victory against a Cowboys team widely considered to be the most disappointing in the league up to now.

I look for feisty Cowboys QB Jon Kitna, who has engaged in his share of wars against the Packers as the Lions’ former signalcaller, to offer a more difficult challenge than might be expected for a Green Bay defense coming off a simply superhuman effort against the Jets.

That said, Aaron Rodgers should be able to generate enough firepower against the Cowboys’ defense to enable the Packers to win their third straight game. I see the game being tight going into the fourth quarter with the Packers ultimately pulling away. And don’t be surprised if a score by a Packers defender on an interception by Kitna provides the winning margin.

Prediction: Packers 26, Cowboys 21
