The Bears didn't solve all their problems during the bye week, but that's not going to stop them from beating the Bills.

RBs Matt Forté and Chester Taylor will find holes and pick up yards at a steady clip on the ground, allowing Chicago to control the clock and keep its defense well rested. Mike Martz is going to strike a better balance between the running and passing game against the Bills' 32nd-ranked run defense.

DE Julius Peppers will harass Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick throughout the game, and Buffalo's offense will stall in the red zone. The Bills will have to settle for field goals at least a couple times, and the Bears will head into the second half of their season with a 5-3 record.

Prediction: Bears 24, Bills 16
