Upon the claiming of ex-Vikings WR Randy Moss off waivers, Titans head coach Jeff Fisher spoke of the importance of getting him quickly acclimated, and indeed, look for Moss to step right into the starting lineup upon the Titans' return to action in Week 10 at Miami. Moss' arrival comes after the Titans lost deep threat Kenny Britt to a hamstring injury in the Week Eight loss at San Diego. Britt, who was making significant progress before the injury, will miss at least the Miami game and likely multiple weeks thereafter, but he is not out for the season, according to Fisher, and there is no clear timetable for his return. What is clear, however, is that the signing of Moss had strong support in the Titans' locker room. Player after player spoke out in support of the move, which occurred only after the Titans, to their surprise, had no other competition for Moss ahead of them in the waiver-claiming pecking order.
