The Seahawks signed three more players to their active roster on Wednesday.
Seattle added C Chris White, DE Jay Richardson and WR Ruvell Martin to fill the roster spots left vacant by injuries.
White was brought in because reserve OL Ben Hamilton was placed on injured reserve following a concussion. Hamilton was the primary backup to starting C Chris Spencer.
Richardson, who has been with the Raiders the past three seasons, will help provide depth following the Seahawks' decision to place DE Red Bryant on IR with a knee injury.
Martin was with Seattle in training camp but was released during final cuts. He and DT Frank Okam will take the roster spots of departed DB Nate Ness and RB Quinton Ganther, who were recently released.
The way we see it
The moves were necessary after the wave of injuries that hit Seattle recently. All three players will provide depth.
