The Browns aren't going to claim ex-Vikings WR Randy Moss on waivers, head coach Eric Mangini said Wednesday.

"I talked to (general manager) Tom (Heckert) and I don’t think we are going to do that, no," Mangini said Wednesday.

The NFL waiver deadline is 4 p.m. ET Wednesday.

The Browns' decision to pass on claiming Moss isn't a surprise. On Tuesday, team president Mike Holmgren said the team's "focus … has to be on developing our younger receivers.”
