Cardinals QB Derek Anderson will get the start for Arizona this week, replacing rookie Max Hall.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said the environment of the Cards' next two games had a lot to do with the decision to start Anderson. Arizona will be on the road the next two weeks against the Vikings and Chiefs.

Anderson started the Cardinals' first four games before being replaced by Hall. The rookie was ineffective as a starter and was replaced by Anderson in his last two starts before losing the starting job on Wednesday.

The way we see it

Anderson provided a spark to the Cardinals' offense after replacing Hall last week, throwing for 234 yards and a touchdown. While he did throw two interceptions, the struggles of Hall were too great to leave the rookie in the starting role.

Fantasy spin

Anderson has struggled with accuracy and turnovers this season, but he does have the potential to throw for a lot of yards. With WRs Larry Fitzgerald, Early Doucet and Steve Breaston all healthy, Anderson could be a fine replacement if your quarterback is injured or on a bye week.
