Here's a look at a key matchup heading into Sunday's Week Nine battle between the Bears and Bills.

Bears DEs Julius Peppers and Israel Idonije vs. Bills OTs Demetrius Bell and Cordaro Howard

He only has two sacks, but Peppers has been pretty disruptive this season, and he could ramp up his production against the Bills on Sunday.

Look for Chicago to try to line up Peppers across from Howard if the undrafted rookie starts again at right tackle. Howard was abused by Chiefs OLB Tamba Hali in Week Eight and he's a weak link that head coach Lovie Smith has to exploit. Howard has been filling in for the injured Cornell Green (knee), and Green's status for Sunday is not yet known. Bell, who plays left tackle, struggles to maintain leverage at times and he could also be beaten by the Bears' pass rushers.

Buffalo will likely send a back or tight end to aid Howard in pass protection, and that will give Idonije a chance to continue taking advantage of one-on-one matchups. Idonije leads the Bears in sacks with 4½ and he has the potential to get to QB Ryan Fitzpatrick often if Buffalo sends multiple blockers at Peppers.
