Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson reached the 13,000 career yards rushing milestone in Sunday's loss to the Packers. Tomlinson entered the game with 12,980 yards rushing and finished with 13,034 after rushing for 54 yards on 16 carries.

Tomlinson joins Walter Payton as the only players in NFL history to gain 13,000 yards rushing and 4,000 yards receiving. Tomlinson had five catches for 37 yards and has 4,099 career receiving yards.

The Jets lost to the Packers, 9-0.

The way we see it

Tomlinson, 31, has quieted the doubters (including his former team, the Chargers) with a solid season. Through seven games, he has 490 rushing yards and five TDs.
